Pear Cream Bowl

This pear cream bowl is surprisingly rich and lightly sweet. I love pears because they are low in sugar, high in fiber, and I can buy them organic for a good price. The taste is clean and refreshing, perfect for a summer cool down.

Pear Cream Bowl

Yields: 1 bowl, 1 person

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 chopped pear
  • 1/4 cup or handful of raw cashews (preferably soaked overnight)
  • 1/4 cup of almond milk to blend
  • Toppings; chia seed pudding (1 tbsp chia per 4 tbsp almond milk), goji berries, cacao nibs, raw nuts and seeds, coconut, coconut sugar, etc

Blend all ingredients on highest setting, as the cashews will need to fully emulsify. It will continue to get thicker as they do. Try to avoid adding too much liquid, but make sure it blends, even if you have to stop the machine and move it into the blades. Once its a thick whip, pour into a bowl and top with whatever you like.

  • Total time: 5 minutes
